Advanced 68060 Accelerator for the A3000(T) and A4000(T)
The Cyberstorm MKIII is the high-end 68060 accelerator board for Amiga 3000/4000(T) systems and systems with a compatible processor slot. It features a socket for an high-performance 68060 processor at 50 MHz clock speed, a memory expansion option for up to 128 MByte of ultra-fast 64-bit memory, a Wide-Ultra-SCSI controller on board and an expansion slot for high-performance expansions such as the CyberVisionPPC.
The CYBERSTORM MKIII offers a very fast sustained memory transfer (up to 68MByte/sec) and is therefore perfectly suited for applications which have to deal with large amounts of data. As the memory design of the CYBERSTORM MKIII is already 50% faster than the memory design of the CYBERSTORM MKII, it's performance in real world applications can be up to 25% higher (measured with a Lightwave 4.0 test rendering).
